Finishing Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finishing Carpenter to join our dynamic team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-quality carpentry work, specializing in interior finishes. This role requires expertise in various carpentry techniques and the ability to collaborate with other construction professionals to deliver outstanding results. The Finishing Carpenter will be responsible for executing finishing tasks, ensuring meticulous attention to detail, and adhering to project timelines and specifications. Responsibilities:
- Interpret and understand blueprints, drawings, and specifications to complete projects accurately.
- Install and finish a variety of wood products, including cabinetry, moldings, trim, and doors.
- Ensure all finishing work meets quality standards and adheres to safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to coordinate schedules and workflows.
- Select and prepare materials, ensuring the right tools and techniques are used for each task.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on existing wood structures as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and materials are stored safely.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to provide updates on project progress.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures, promoting a safe work environment.
- Stay updated on the latest carpentry techniques and materials to enhance skillset and improve quality of work.

- Proven experience as a Finishing Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good physical condition and stamina, with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Completion of relevant carpentry training or apprenticeship is an advantage.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices within a construction environment.
