Camp Coordinator

Job description / Role

We are seeking a Camp Coordinator to manage staff accommodation with a capacity of around 600 laborers. The role involves overseeing daily camp operations, ensuring safety and well-being, coordinating maintenance and logistics, and managing relationships with suppliers and service providers.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle staff accommodation for over 600 laborers, ensuring safety and comfort.
Coordinate procurement, rentals, maintenance, and delivery of camp services with third-party suppliers.
Oversee daily camp operations, including health and safety compliance.
Manage accommodation logistics and inventory of camp supplies.
Supervise food supplies receipt and distribution from the in-house canteen and external suppliers.
Train and supervise camp staff to maintain a safe and pleasant environment.
Develop and enforce camp policies and procedures.
Prepare reports on camp inspections and performance, ensuring effective dispatch of workers.
Organize and coordinate camp activities, while managing budgets and resources.

Minimum of 6 years of proven experience in camp management, with at least 4 years in the UAE.
Experience handling camps with a capacity of 600+ laborers, especially in construction companies.
Strong written and verbal communication skills (English and general labor languages).
Proficiency in computer skills (Email, Outlook, Excel, Word).
Ability to manage multiple tasks and handle operational challenges efficiently.
Immediate availability or minimal notice is preferred.
UAE Driving License is mandatory.

Salary:
AED 3,500 to 4,500 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
